WANDERING SOUNDS: ANNIE HAMILTON

I first met singer/songwriter/touring guitarist/fashion designer/graphic artist Annie when I’d only just joined the Wanderer team, and I got the opportunity to hop on the train up to Surry Hills for an interview with her about her upcoming album! Although I was a little bit nervous, I had only heard incredible things about Annie—and that she approaches everything with lightness and joy and inspiration. Since this day, I’ve come to learn that all of this, and more, is true.

Annie’s talent is boundless and her kindness is endless. So of course we wanted to reach out and see if she’d like to collaborate on a Wandering Sounds playlist!

songs i am obsessed with ~ oklou makes me feel like a futuristic-medieval deer gliding through a misty field in another dimension as of yet untouched by humankind. hyperballad is my foreversong, it carries me. the wet leg cover of daisy which scratches an itch in my brain, fontaines ofc (if it matters, you complete me,) fcukers oozing effortless cool, samia with some of my favourite lyrics of all time “clad in leopard, clutch the bannister, twirling like a degas dancer”, a bunch of songs that have made me fall back in love with guitar, and texas reznikoff to carry us home - the breeze in my austin nights.
