THE CAT EMPIRE WITH THE SYDNEY SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA

Wanderer illustrator and new best friend Finn and I have been invited to see The Cat Empire play with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra at the Sydney Opera House this Saturday. The band are playing a three night residency in the Concert Hall from the 5th to the 7th of September.
We have since realised that both of us have a strong nostalgic connection to this band.
Finn remembers seeing them with his parents at Yours and Owls in 2016, his first real concert! When we were first invited, he listed his favourite tracks without hesitation, some included below.
I remember my brothers and I learning the lyrics to “The Car Song” on our matching iPod Nano’s. Mine was blue.
